A native of Covington, Carol received her B.A. in ART from Queens University, Charlotte.
She continued her studies at the School of Visual Arts in NYC and at the University of Georgia Art School. She has participated in various workshops,
including several with Joe Perrin, head of the Georgia State University Art Department, Emeritus. She was Artist-in-Residence at five Newton County Elementary Schools.
Carol owned and operated The Upstairs Art Studio in Covington, where for 13 years she taught both children and adults. She works in a variety of mediums
including oil, acrylic, watercolor, collage and found objects.
Carol’s works are widely collected by individuals and businesses. She has the distinction of having one of her paintings in the permanent collection of a Georgia museum.
Carol has won many awards, including 1st prize in several shows. She was featured on WSB-TV with the Going Green Award.
Carol lived on a Greek Island for 15 years where her artwork was all graphic desighn. One of her signs is featured in an international book.
Carol owned Van Go’s Studio for 4 years representing over 90 artists. She exhibited at WildArt here in Covington, and now at SHAG!
